Hi cruisemaniac (Ashwin), it seems that a CRM solution is the right solution based on my reading of your post. It may be that SugarCRM provides more than enough in the way of features and, if so, these can be scaled back through simple configuration settings in order to simoplify things (no code, no backflips).

I'd invite you to view the resources we make available to help jump-start an implementation process. They can be found <a href="http://http://www.sugarforge.org/content/support/" title="here" rel="nofollow">. Included among these resources is access to the full library of Sugar University content and online documentation.

As for the issues you encountered in your use of SugarCRM I'd encourage you to raise them in Sugar's <a href="http://www.sugarcrm.com/forums/index.php?" title="forums" rel="nofollow">. I'll be keeping an eye out for you there and feel free to contact me directly via a private message in the forums. You can be assured you'll hear back from me right away. I'm easy to find: look for 'andydreisch' as I'll be on the lookout for 'cruisemaniac'.

Thanks and good luck.
